I recently found out that America West Airline's radio callsign is "Cactus". I never knew that untill I went to LAX with my new scanner the other day.
I know these weird ones:
Redrock= National Airlines
BA= Speedbird
Anyone else know any bizzare ones?

Well, Air Florida was "Palm". Pan Am was (and is) "Clipper". And South African is sometimes "Springbok"

A medical evacuation flight's call sign is 'lifeguard.' (At least here in the States...)
