Parked on the North Ramp near the NW hangar. VIP colors -- blue flash on the tail. Anybody see it or know who it belongs to?

It struck me that this might be the first/only 747SP ever seen by younger Boston spotters. I'm old enough to remember when Pan Am and TWA had regular SP service at BOS. Braniff may have dropped one in from time to time as well.

Don't know who that belongs to, but it would have been a nice catch. At least one other 747SP has visited Boston in recent times, though. I spotted Bahrain Royal Flight 747SP A9C-HMH at Boston on May 5, 2007. The description of the plane you saw doesn't match the Bahrain plane, as it has a red and white Bahrain flag on the tail.
