Well, NK now supports offshore drilling....as shown by the image on their website for a new $9 sale they have going on...

Leave it to the marketing gurus at NK to continue to come up with original ads.

Double meaning, I believe, taking into account NK's taste for innuendo.  Wink

Would it kill NK to be a smidge less tacky? I'd hate them a little bit less. Silly

One of the many reasons why I don't travel this tacky airline. I'm not even going there with that ad.

It probably would. I mean look what they've had so far....the M.I.L.F sale, the Red Light special sale, etc. I wonder what demographic they are going after?  Wink

I caught this one too and directed a few friends there. I guess my complaint was that is was too vague / veiled. If you want to be racy, then be racy.

I can see the sexual innuendo, but I felt that they needed a male in the frame to really drive home the innuendo. Maybe even have a couple in the water with a knowing look on their faces  Wink

One friend thought its meaning was harmless - in effect trying to say "Spirit supports the usage of our offshore resources" -- beautiful beaches, oceans, etc.

One thought "offshore drilling" was supposed to be a substitute for diving / snorkeling.

Another thought it was a policy statement -- offshore drilling = more oil = lower fuel prices = cheaper flights for passengers.
