A vegetarian Indian passenger sued the Jet Airways airline for giving him not what he ordered. Before taking his flight, he ordered rice and beans, but while eating the dish he discovered a bone in there. The court obliged the airline to pay the "victim" 10000 rupees which is equal to 220 US$ and to refund him the cost of the ticket 2500 rupees = US$55.

I love India, such a cheap country in terms of prices. In US the amount of money would be hundred times more...

What a small settlement amount. I have a friend who found a human tooth in her burrito (not on a plane, in a restaurant) and got at least $1000.
