So Friday night, a Kitty Hawk Air Cargo 737-300 pulled in to one of the ramps at South Airpark at Ted Stevens Int'l. I know the carrier folded some time ago, and ceased ops I think.
So I figured they'd refuel and leave.
Much to my surprise, they shut down the APU and parked for the night!
When I showed up for work today (directly across the taxiway), there were TWO of them sitting there, nose-to-tail!

Skyliner-Aviation.de reported that the N106KH and N108KH departed POA (where they've been stored) on delivery to their new operator in China on the 3rd.
Possible that its these two currently in ANC, although if thats the case they're taking their time about it!

Wow- well, I guess it might take a few hops to get here from Argentina.
We had a pair of Chinese AN-26 copies (what is it, the Xian something? Mav? Can't remember) park at Ted Stevens this spring overnight. They parked on Romeo-2, which is PRIME (very expensive, and paid by the hour) real estate at ANC Int'l.
These two birds yesterday parked in the low-rent district. Sure were pretty with their blue Air New Zealand-ish fuselage stripes.
