Hey Latinplane, very wonderful vid, thanks for posting...

... Wow, that flyby looks like an amazing manoeuvre to me ... That left wingtip had a very close encounter with the ground !!!

The " Torisimo " looks quite appealing, but will Aerosur's management be able to keep this classic gas guzzler at sound and safe economic levels ?

BTW, who was this beauty operating for before arriving in VVI ?

Best regards

That's a very nice looking 747-300! I can't wait to get the opportunity to photograph her at MAD.

Looks like she is ex-TF-AMJ which formally operated with XL Airways and Corsair.

Does anyone know what Aerosur is doing with the 767 parked in the background and who the former operator was?

Would be great to know what's the marketing stategy behind the " Torìsimo " logo jet.

All the best to AeroSur.

But... do they really have enough traffic to justify and hence make profit from operating such a large A/C?

Will they be able to fill a 743 on VVI-MAD ?? IMO would have been a smarter move to get something like another 767 or maybe a M11.

Felicidades to Aerosur. The Bolivian community in Spain is quite large, not sure if it warrants a 747-300 between MAD andVVI. What is the frequency of this flight?

I can tell you Aerosur will steal a lot of pax from AA. 5L crew will make the airplane even better looking!

With the current price of oil Aerosur's management will have a hard time to keep the balance sheet positive.

Not likely. They may take a couple Bolivia-point of sale pax but AA has nothing to worry about. How many Latin American carriers have they seen come and go at MIA?

That was a nice video. However, The pilot turned that plane a little to sharp. If had been any lower to the ground the tip of the left wing would have hit the runway. This fly bys are not all that smart for the larger aircraft this low to the ground.

ex ET-AIF with Ethiopian. And I hate how this Aerosur 767 is painted in the regular white scheme probably because they wanted to keep it simple and business-like (BOOORING) since it's going to "fly to Miami" blah!

How about painting Aerosurito's face or the bird logo or something purple in that fuselage! It's scheduled to replace the 727 in just a few more days that has been flying the MIA route for the last few months. Not sure why the 757 has been parked.

I would have been nice to have been standing on the runway and have that thing fly above one's head so low. Man I wish i was there to see it. It reminds of the pic of an Air Zimbabwe 707 that I saw a few years ago which made what has to have been the lowest pass by a jetliner that I've ever seen.
