DOT Approves B6 MCO-BOG

The DOT has ruled in favor of JetBlue's request to delay the starting of MCO-BOG service until next year.

JetBlue will begin service on the MCO-BOG route on February 12, 2009.

Let us hope that jetBlue does indeed start then!
I won't believe it until they publish the schedules. I do hope they do, though, as I want to see to what extent the MCO-BOG market gets stimulated by this new jetBlue service. I'm confident that the result will be positive.

Very surprising, but good for B6 nonetheless. Hopefully MCO can be connected to a few more spokes, which will allow for more connecting traffic to fill up the flight rather than the minimal O&D that this route sees.
