Cessna-Gimli Glider Coincidence

Hey there all...

I haven't found anything on here yet in regards to an odd coincidence between a recent emergency landing of a Cessna 207 on Hwy 8 in Manitoba.

The Cessna pilot make a successful unpowered landing on the highway narrowly missing a truck, whos driver (kerry Seabrook) happened to be one of a few kids at the racetrack at Gimli that fateful day in 1983. Almost mowed down by a plane twice  Wink.

Though you may find this eerie coincidence interesting. For Kerry's sake I am sure he may be relieved that the planes headed his way twice so far seem to be getting smaller.  duck

At least they were both successful landings.

It'd be straight up depressing if they were crashes.
