Hi I was just wondering if anyone knows if KLMs A330s will ever go on longer routes and will they get crew rest facilities because they only have 2 seats at the back of business for pilots. If anyone knows that would be great, thanks.

As far as I know, the longest KL A330 routes are AMS-ATL and AMS-YVR.

Amsterdam-Dallas pretty long......

Also goes to Doha yes and they wanted to fly it to Chengdu, but something with the oxygen system on the 330 would be inadequate if a decompression was encountered over the high terrain their....

The last rumour i heard was they may wanted to do AMS-BON with it iso the MD11 but this is a RUMOUR!

ask HB-IWC about more info for accuracy

So if they are going all the way to DFW thats nearly 11 hours isnt it? Doesn't there have to be an extra crew member on those routes, if so where do they sleep because I had a look at their layout and there is no crew rest bunks?

In those situations airlines usually block a business class seat for crew rest purposes.
