I read on an earlier thread that AS and UA has been giving VX a run for its money on the SEA-SFO and SEA-LAX flights. How have the loads been on VX out of the Pacific Northwest? Any expansion plans expected out of SEA like LAS, JFK or IAD?

The only running United has been doing is out of the market.
With the glut of capacity (thanks to AS and their hourly service also) UA will have trimmed LAX-SEA down to mere 3x daily United Express flying. Far cry from the ~6-7 mainline flights.
From the desert to the sea, to all of Southern California

Quoting Wedgetail737 (Thread starter): I read on an earlier thread that AS and UA has been giving VX a run for its money on the SEA-SFO and SEA-LAX flights. How have the loads been on VX out of the Pacific Northwest? Any expansion plans expected out of SEA like LAS, JFK or IAD?
VX has not stated any plans to expand out of SEA. It is just an endpoint for them, from their two hubs (SFO/LAX). Since VX has not published any LF data, it's hard to say, but looking at seat maps (they don't overbook), it looks like loads are pretty decent. They have recently raised (almost doubled) their first class fares, while keeping the coach fares pretty cheap ($69-$99 each way). It has definitely impacted the first class loads. Yesterday, I was the only paid F SFO-SEA, with 4 others in the cabin who had standy-upgraded.
