Hey! My sister and I are going to London this Friday. She is coming on British Airways from SEA into terminal 4 and I am coming from LAX on Virgin into terminal 3. Does anyone know any good and visible meeting place for us? I think that since BA is so crowded, it would be better if she met me at Terminal 3. Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

Terminals 1,2,3 are the same tube stop and terminal 4 is on the second of the two Heathrow tube stops. Terminal 4 is grouped quite separately from the others. So my point is it's not as easy as say going from 1 to say terminal 2 or 3. It will depend on how you are travelling Cab(expensive £50 and up) Heathrow express(mid cost about £12 I think) or the Tube (about £4).

You can go on the Heathrow Express for free if you're just going from the Terminal 4 stop to the Terminals 1, 2 and 3 stop. And as posted above, T3 is a zoo in the morning when the transatlantic (UA, AA, VS) and other international arrivals come in. I think Capt. Picard's suggestion is best - meet at a cafe, restaurant etc.

Speaking of LHR terminals When is T5 going to be built so that congestion on the other four can be eased. Isn't there another runway at LHR in the works as well? Can't wait to see these things become a reality so that LHR can be much easier to get around for airline employees and passengers alike. What is the status? Hopefully the next step can ease the restrictions of Bermuda 2 and let BMI fly out of LHR to the US in exchange for one US airline to fly there like DL or CO. I don't think NWA is interested since they're focused on Transpacific and they already have a strong Euro hub at AMS with their partner KLM. Can anyone confirm?
