The Ryanair 738s are not listed in the August so they must have been ordered on Sept 1st or 2nd. With these four orders, I believe the 737NG orders just hit the 5000 mark.

Do you mean 5000 B737 or 5000 B737NG?

737NG. I did say this in my post. The total B737 orders incl. classics exceed 8000.

Boeing chart shows two 777s ordered by BA... Thought they had received all 772s from the original order.. is it an add on?

As FRNT787 already said, the two you see from this year are the -300ERs BA directly ordered. BA announced they will also lease four -300ERs from GECAS .

But BA also have a separate order for four 777-200ERs pending - which were ordered in March last year. The first of this order would normally have been manufactured by the end of this year - but with a prolonged strike who can tell what the schedule will be.

Didn't know they had -300ERS on order... So they have 6 777-300ER total on order right? Are this ones going the replace older 744s?

I believe so. They also took four options directly with Boeing for an additional 4 -300ERs. Eventually they could have 10 in the fleet, or more, if they choose it as a cornerstone of their longhaul replacement.
