I just checked the agenda for the Aerocivil´s "Grupo Aerocomercial" next week´s meeting ...it caught my attention to see AV asking for frecuecies to fly to Mariquita (Tolima) from CLO, BOG and MDE...does anyone knows something?....any chance AV really starts flying to Mariquita..

Yes, for what I can gather the MQU would be a convenience stop so that AV can enter the EOH-BOG (up to 8 daily frequencies) and EOH-CLO (1 daily).
It's a defensive measure by AV, as it has been losing market on Medellin-Bogota to Aires, Satena and lately EasyFly, who fly from the very convenient Olaya Herrera airport.
This flights would be operated with F50. It makes me think that, if the rights are granted, AV might well get back the F50s it had transferred to OceanAir and that are currently grounded.

If this becomes a reality, count me in. I just did this week BOG-MDE-BOG twice, and I wish they flew into EOH, yo get both a fast service, avoid the 1hr drive and keep adding those FF.
