Just heard and seen that an FR 737-800 has come in on emergency and been taken over to remote parking, apparently owing to a suspect package being discovered on board.

I have no further details than that, other than I understand it arrived from DUB. As I write, pax have apparently already been removed from the aircraft.

Does anyone have any further details? Would be interested to know exactly what's happened.

Apparantly its the 2nd scare today involving Irish airlines. Aer Lingus had a bomb scare on the flight from JFK-DUB.

Yeah, I read about that one - that was apparently a scare of the note found in a toilet type. I definitely heard suspect package in this case, though that is by no means confirmed.
