Quoting B773A346 (Thread starter): 1. Finnair - BOM-HEL-BOM - A343 -Is the route performing well ? Do they intend to change their flight timing like other airlines to Europe?
Last I read was that they were planning to reduce their frequencies to India (from 13 down to 10), though another article claims they're looking to actually increase India services (esp BLR and MAA) in a while once they have more "fuel efficient a/c". So it's tough to say about them.
Quoting B773A346 (Thread starter): 3. Alitalia - No Route as of now - Do they intend to fly from BOM- Milan again ?
Who? AZ? Aren't they near gone by now ?
Quoting B773A346 (Thread starter): 6. All Nippon Airways - BOM-NRT-BOM - B737ER - Is this route doing well since it is a complete Business Class Confing. Should they change to B763 or B772 if loads are good ?
This should be the first upgrade I'd expect to see, given if they can sustain the front of the plane, the back should not be such a challenge to fill up. Plus the lack of decent non-stops on the India-Japan route, despite decades of business links between the 2 countries.
Quoting B773A346 (Thread starter): 7. Virgin Atlantic Airways - BOM-LHR-BOM - A343 - This route should be doing well but should they apply for a double daily like their competitors like 9W and BA . or upgrade to B744 or A346 ?
This is one that I feel will ultimately pull out of the market, or enter into a code/revenue share with IT. There's just too much "serious" competition on this route for VS to sustain it for long.

Indeed VS is pulling 2 flights a week between Sept 16 and Oct 9 prior to the winter timetable in response to oil price etc so the signs are this is infact one of their poorer routes for profitability, may still be profitable of curse but theres more money somewhere else.
