It had been reported before the Olympics that a potential merger discussion between MU and FM could take place after the Games were over. Now the news is again floating around with suggestion that MU and FM could merge before SQ trying again to buy MU stakes.

If this goes ahead, would *A lose FM or would MU join *A. Given CA's ties with CX and MU's with SQ, it looks like MU is more suitable for the alliance.
