Very nice. Been waiting for this one for a while now. Always good to see more service at FAR!

Does Allegiant have any cities that get service 5-7days a week or even cities that get more than 1 flight a day?

BLI-LAS frequently has more than one flight a day. I have even seen them run it 3X a day on some rare occasions.

PIA has PIE 26, LAS 1457, and IWA/AZA 15 in season, so they see 2 flights a day on Mondays and Fridays and a total of 8 a week.
Similarly, in season RFD has LAS 15, SFB 47, IWA/AZA 15, and PIE 37, so they see 8 weekly flights, with two on Mondays and Fridays.

I'm impressed with Allegiant, they seem to have their act together. I would give them a try but Allentown is too far for me, I would love it if they came to Trenton (TTN).

I would fly Allegiant, but they are way too expensive, for instance i looked at their air fare for GFK-LAS, and they are running between 189-329 ONE WAY! I have found much better fares on NW, i get my miles, a free drink, and probably get upgraded to F due to elite status. I don't think they will last too long here in GFK IMO. Rumor has it they are parking at the Flight support. But who knows.

Which may be why Allegiant is actually making money and NW is losing money.

And spend what, 5 to 8 hours each way to connect on NW vs. a couple of hours for an Allegiant non-stop.
Many people doing a weekend getaway don't want to waste time on airplanes or in airports, no matter what perks they get or don't get on the flights. Long travel times are only acceptable to us airline geeks or mileage junkies.

Confirmed today (at least for the most part), G4 will park at the terminal but will be handled by the crew from GFK Flight Support.
Monday/Friday looks to be a busy day for the folks at handle G4 in FAR

Id rather do that and save that $200 for gambling in Las Vegas, plus I could get there earlier on NW anyway.

Maybe... but people speak with their wallets anymore.

Questions is how long will this route last. They don't like to stay around very long.

Nothing wrong with trying to save money. Just remember that other people are going to want to minimize travel time or possible misconnects.
Quoting Burnsie28 (Reply 14): Maybe... but people speak with their wallets anymore.
Exactly so we will see what the public choses.
Quoting DTWAGENT (Reply 15): Questions is how long will this route last. They don't like to stay around very long.
They don't stay around IF they are not getting enough bookings to be profitable.
Allegiant has been operating FAR-LAS since 2005, that's being around Fargo for a long time isn't it?
And what's wrong with saying that the market didn't respond and cutting your losses. You'd rather see an airline stick around and continue to lose money?
If the market does respond Allegiant will be on the route for a long time.
Allegiant also treats these routes like what they are, leisure routes which may be seasonal. So if they think they can only make money part of the year that is how the route will operate.

Um, no.
They don't like to stay around "unprofitable" markets very long. Makes sense to me.
