Today Sept 9th apx 4 45pm, while headed to the active for take off at ATL, our NW DC youknowwhat model 50 taxied by the open DL hanger. Inside the hanger, I notice a plane with a red tail and a big white star on the vertical stab.
Anyone know which carrier or kind of plane it was?
Many thanks in advance.

Quoting DL Widget Head (Reply 1):

I want to say a thread was posted about this before.
The bird above is ex N114DL and AFAIK once DL solid the 762s to ABX they also signed a MX contract with them. Kind of like World. (but with M11s)

Inside the hanger

Must have been a large hanger to fit a 757 in.

I'm sure it would fit nicely into a hangar, though.

Right. "Hanger" is a type of steak, or what you use to store your clothes vertically.

"Hangar" is a building in which aircraft are housed/serviced.

As long as you brought back a Randy's Key Lime pie for me, you're forgiven.....
