Flybe is looking to restore routes from MAN, that have been axed previously. MAD and LYS (axed by BE just after they took over Bacon) are on the list, together with AMS, HAM and STR.

It seems like Flybe are getting their things together. They have made record profits in this though environment and lately we haven't been hearing much on cancellations anymore.

Now I guess BE wants to be a step ahead of U2. MAD, LYS, AMS and HAM are also routes that will surely be on U2s radar.

Flybe have certainly done well, especially in the current environment. They axed flights in the immediate takeover of BACon, slowly building them up again. I think to restore this amount of routes 1-2 aircraft would have to be added. For any of these to work they need to be at the minimum daily, as a bare minimum(Especially MAD,AMS) These routes could do double daily easily.

I should think MAD and AMS are being looked at by U2, they could make this work but im not sure MAN would need 3 carriers to AMS.

The MAN thread rumours WW to launch AMS. If so that would be KL, WW and BE not to mention if U2 wanted a crack at it.

Proud to fly from Manchester!

Literally just read that! And that can only be a detremental thing, KL might drop a frequency. How many dailly is it now for them?

Then again WW isnt exactly anything special!

I sincerely hope Flybe will use this terminal. It's a little nice terminal for regional aviation and it's highly underutilized since Air Nostrum moved to T4.

Actually, 2 of them were parked there round 14:00

Quite difficult as MAN is a non-Schengen destination and there isn't any immigration facility in MAD T2 and T3.
