I would suspect the droped International F/C around the same time NW did, and that was ca. 1996/7.

The last time I flew NW International F/C was in '96 so I suspect it was shortly there after.

The reason why KL stopped first class was the fact that AMS isn´t as high yield and unable to attract F-class passengers.

As for why KL doesn´t KL use the 74E to Almaty. If I´m not mistaken the Almaty flight is a stop enroute to Osaka. Furthermore KL doesn´t have many spare 74E´s.

AMS-KIX vv. goes nonstop without any stop at ALA unless they have a Cargo service beside the Pax service.

I should have been more specific as I indeed referred to the cargo AMS-KIX flight and not the pax flight. They do make a stop at ALA.
