I've just received a couple of pictures of how the interior of AV's new A330s will look like. Comments are in Spanish, but I'll make a translation of them.

As far as I know, at least in Y class, seats are going to be standard in the whole Airbus fleet, starting with the latest A319 that is still at Hamburg as well as with the brand new A330 that should arrive to BOG in a few days.

Clase Ejecutiva seats:

Big version: Width: 714 Height: 338 File size: 187kb

Seats include:

"Our Clase Ejecutiva travelers will be able to enjoy of a lot of facilities.

Besides comfortable seats and spacious bathrooms, they will get an amenity kit which includes tooth brush, tooth paste, tissues, mirror, hands cream, eyes cover, Chap Stick and socks.

They'll also find blankets, pillows, back noise free headphones, shoe bags and IPod plug ins."

* Individual lamps
* USB, IPod and power supply plug ins.
* Shoes compartment
* Amenities compartment
* Headphones

Economy class seats:

Big version: Width: 329 Height: 524 File size: 132kb

Seats include:

"The entertainment system for the economy class cabin is composed by individual 9 inches LCD screens, remote controls, coasters, USB, among others."

I presume they will be full flast seats (judging by the looks), but will they be at 180 degrees or slightly angled?

The business class seats featured above are only for A319s, A320s and will also be fitted on 767s. They are exactly the same type that Virgin America have on their First Class.

Avianca's A330s will have flat beds on business class.

If this is in fact the case, then those are are some mighty fine regional F seats!

You're right. In that case teh AV business seats featured pictured above are the ones for the A330s, that fold down into a flat beds.
The Andromeda seats (as VX have in their First Class), although also vey nice, do not have full recline: http://www.aviointeriors.it/english/andromeda.htm and those will be installed in the A319s, A320s and retrofitted on 767s.

This is an announcement issued precisely for the A330, so I do not think they will be the A319/320 seats, at least for Clase Ejecutiva. AV's J class seats does not look different than the flat beds offered by IB on their A340 on Business Plus. As seen in the images, seats and equipment look pretty much similar.

The seats look quite nice. The J seat looks very similar to IB and SA's seats and the Y seats look very much like the seats on SQ's A380 and 77W. But there's only one bad thing though, those colors are hideous! The Y seat covers look loke they have been taken from a Pulkovo Airlines Tu-154, and the J seat covers aren't as ugly as the Y, but still very ugly. They should at least have chosen colours that match with their livery.

The J seats look kind of dated for a new aircraft when compared to what other airlines worldwide are unveiling. I have to say, though, that I'm looking forward to flying in Y on N948AC and her sister ships this February, routing MIA-BOG-LIM and back.

The Avianca magazine talks about the A330, A320 and A319. They actually note the difference between the different aircraft in the touch screens which will be 10.6" screens for the single aisle aircraft and 15.4" for the A330, but same type of seats.

Maybe if we compare it to J class in SQ, BA, VS and almost all the asians, but in my opinion they are par with LAN, IB, and even AF, and i think that almost all the people here thinks that these seats are a huge leap from what is being offered at these days.

Probably didn't explained myself correctly, but that's exactly what I meant. AV needed a J producto similar or superior to LA to compete and this will be enough. I know we'll never see a F product in AV ala EK, QR, SQ, EY, etc, but as I said it before, this will work just fine for me, I'm not ecpecting anything else besides their wrm and human service, that I even get in Y, which by the way, now with IFE, will be awesome, AA will definetively look old with their A300 in the MIA market.

The Y seats appear to be a form of the Weber 5751 (the same type of seats used on Delta's 73Gs, 738s, domestic 763s, ETOPS 752s, and 772LRs), only full featured with footrests, cup holders, hard back shells, and bi-fold tray tables. I wish DL would have gotten all of these amenities. And out of all of DL's aircraft with the Weber 5751 seats, only those on the 772LRs have winged headrests.
