Hi, can anyone help me? I'm trying to find a flight from Dubai to Erbil but I can't seem to find the right name for the regional airline - does anyone know whether it's Kurdistan Airlines, Kurdistan Airways, or Air Kurdistan? Google just throws up a random hodge-podge of all of the above...

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as would any experience or recommendations anyone has of flights between Dubai and Erbil.

Thanks,
Vee

Wiking Airlines used to operate to Erbil.
According to Wiki, Royal Jordanian do operate on that route, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erbil_International_Airport

Thanks Alessandro. Unfortunately I think the Wiki info is out-of-date, as Royal Jordanian now only seem to operate from Amman to Erbil. Maybe I should just get the air force to air-drop me in...

I think you have a two options from Dubai - Kurdistan Airlines and Zagros Airlines. Kurdistan Airlines is on 04 262 2250 if you're in DXB.

Other alternatives are to fly to AMM and then take RJ's F28, or fly to BEY and take Flying Carpet Airlines across to Erbil.

Had a family member who used to do a lot of business in Kurdistan, and would often fly between Beirut, Erbil and Dubai. I wanted to get over there myself but never had the time.

Thanks Airxliban, that's a great help. Think I will do Emirates NBO-DXB then Kurdistan Airlines DXB-EBL.
