I saw on the Winnipeg Airport Authority's website (http://www.waa.ca/) an arrival from YQF (Red Deer) for 5T (Canadian North). Would this be a 737 Combi on an ad hoc charter ? Or positioning I suppose. I can't imagine a sked from YQF - YWG .

Just being curious.

Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

It could be the Liberal election plane perhaps.

I believe Air Inuit are the ones running the Liberal campaign and they are using every last inch of that place from what I've heard.

It is likely to be a custom charter into Red Deer.

Probably just a charter. Canadian North does a ton of them, with both standard and combi 737-200s.

What could possibly go wrong?

Air Inuit are definitely transporting the Liberal leader and his entourage around this huge country of ours for election campaign purposes , although I believe I heard that there were some sort of mechanical problem the other day that delayed use of the AI 737-200 for a short while? .....could the Canadian North aircraft be a sub?
Just a thought ....

Red Deer is one of if not the safest CPC riding in the country. They got well over 70% of the vote there isn 2006. If Dion is wasting his time in Red Deer, he deserves the electoral thrashing he is gonna get.
