I was wondering how the new Banglore - London route was doing by Kingsiher.
This A332 has no Business Class. Only First Class and Economy Class ! That is great ..
Are they planning to launch BOM-LHR as well ? I think this would result VS to pull out the BOM-LHR-BOM route or make 9W or BA reduce from the double daily.
Air India has already pulled the 10 weekly (A332/B763/B744) to a daily with the B763 and A332 mix.
Is this route going to create saturation point for the airlines since all long haul aircrafts are used.
I mean Jet Airways uses 2 B77W where one could have been an A332.
BA uses B744 both time some time of the year but majority B744 and B772 where the B763 can be used too.
Air India changes planes all the time ! lol . B744- A332 - B763 !
Virgin Altanic is using the A343 all the time but they need a smaller aircraft.
I think there is a desperate need for Privatair for this route. A business jet for such a route would be amazing !

IF Virgin needs a smaller plane, then its not worth flying to Mumbai. IF they can't turn a profit with an A343 there is something wrong. Flying an A330 shouldn't be the answer for Virgin.

It's going to be a daily B744. AMD-BOM-LHR-EWR.

9W changing from a B77W to A332 is a big deal because A332 does not have F. When considering LHR, 9W may want to keep the 3 class configuration aircraft.
BA is majorly doing a B744,B772. the night flight for both 9W,BA has good loads. the day flights are debatable though. But from what I could know the day flights were kind only to BA and 9W.

IT started it's daily BLR/LHR services on the 3rd September and BOM/LHR starts 26th of October

They have already cancelled 8 round trips on this route between September 16 and October 9. This is before IT start operating the route.
IT's First product is alot like VS upper class product. Having flown IT in India and VS all over the world I find IT's crew are alot more professional, friendly and attentive and the IT service has more attention to detail.
I am guessing it is just a matter of time until IT add DEL. Does anyone know how VS is performing on that route?
