Ghost Haunts Runway At New BLR Airport

A shape-shifting ghost has been spotted on the runway at BLR. Occasionally appearing in a white saree or as a headless body, it is alleged that a couple of flights have had to abort landings. There have been no moves to fly in 'ghostbusters' from Delhi.

Anybody else flying into BLR seen this apparition or have suggestions? Does this happen at other airports too?

Cremation is the preferred exit strategy out there, unless an ancient burial ground was disturbed.

The only aviation related ghosts I can think of were the deadheading crew from Eastern 401...

Ha ha! You're right. It could also be part of a secret PR effort to re-open the old HAL airport.

Anything to get the airport to shift back to HAL....Guess the staff are finding the added commute tough.

LHR had it's share of sightings of WWII airmen on the runway too by the tower controllers. None of the sightings were reported in recent times though.
