Just a little noise I heard the other night at work, Korean plans on flying a 747-400F into Toronto. This is rumored to begin on the new sched, beginning of april. If it follows the current sched service of their 200F's and 200SF's, it should arrive tuesday and saturday nights, approx 19:30 local. Just thought some of you spotters might like to know. When I hear more I'll let you know! Big grin
all the best crj-900 (original)

Hi,
KE has been flying the 747-400F into YYZ from ANC occasionally but not on every flight.

When was that.....I've never seen anything other than 200f's or SF's....Know the ground handling agents very well, and have never seen it myself ?????
The post was to anounce sched service.

I agree, never seen one when I was there. CRJ-900, can't wait to do the headset and pushback for Korean when I come back in May.

To clarify, I work as a ramp attendant at YYZ and service Korean on a regular basis (I'm off on leave right now at university but will be back in May).

Regards
Darryl

The cargo ground handling company for KE is Ogden Aviation which has recently been bought out by John Menzie's Group.

Ogden also services
KLM
Cathay Pacific
PIA
ICC
Airborne Express
DHL
BAX

Word has it that we will also have ELAL as well as Eva Air come this summer

Regards Darryl

P.S. I've worked the ground control for Korean on several occasions and can't wait to start back at YYZ come May 1st.

Does Ogden also handle Cathay and Korean passenger flights? Or just Cargo flights?

Ogden handles Cathay passenger on a daily basis and only Korean Air Cargo Tusday and Saturday's, not passenger, the passenger aircraft, which is quite a 747-400 is handled by Hudson General

How is it different (if any) handling EL AL flights?

Not quite sure we havn't started with them yet, but everytime I driven past ElAl at the gate there is always armed security standing around the plane, could be quite interesting. Wouldn't want to make any smart comments if you know what I mean!
