Today (March 17) marked the second consecutive day of a 100 percent systemwide completion factor for America West Airlines. To date, the completion factor for March 2001 is 97.4 percent. This is evidence that America West is committed well on its way to become a quality carrier of choice.

That is indeed a remarkable accomplishment! I doubt if any of the other majors have done this in years (except maybe TWA). Bravo America West, I hope your operational success continues.

It's still a loser airline.
I predict they will not be around in two years.

100% schedule completion is a reasonable accomplishment when you're flying 800 some odd flights a day.

America West still rakes in the complaints though. I'm not really sure why, but they seem to have serious problems with their customer service.

Greg- Before you make meaningless and ambiguous statements, you need to back your comments with facts. Your comment sounded like a 14-year punk that didn't get his way and tries to act like he is all-knowing by making such an oddball dynamic statement. A 100% completion factor for 2 straight days is remarkable for a major US carrier.
