I think it is such a pity that the residents( who knew there was an airport when the brought the houses) made it impossible for CVT to be a viable airport against the bigger BHX. I personally do not like BHX as it is a bunfight and was looking forward to more flights from the convenient and easy CVT.
Sad for all there who tried to make it a satisfactory experience for the passengers and also for the staff who will lose thier jobs in an uncertain time.
I am sure the reason for TUIFly coming out was entirely due to the lack of a satisfactory terminal building.No competiton from a local airport means BHX will jack up the costs. They are already the only airport I know that charges for setdown.

Indeed I too would be surprised, especially considering they pulled one aircraft this summer making it a one-aircraft-only base.
