LTE Latest Casualty - Suspends Operations

LTE has announced it has suspended operations to the Spanish authorities. Sorry for not having a link (well not an english one anyway) but yet another blow to the Spanish travel industry after Futuras collapse last month.

But....Thats AVIATION Darling!!!!

Rummors they don´t have any money to pay for fuel. Wonder if they will be
able to restart or will just disappear like Futura did. Only really leaves Iberworld
as a Spanish charter player in the market although Air Europa/Spanair do a little!

Source? The website Flysur.com seemed to work as normal, although I didn't manage to book a flight.

nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

The airline still operates flights. Yesterday I saw the arrival of the sole ATR42 from ODB at BCN airport fully loaded.

There are rumours about no air controllers at Cordoba Airport but flights are still running.

That is terrible news always liked LTE flown with them on a couple of occasions couldnt fault them but im sure its just another airline in a very long cue waiting to go out of buisness.

Thats a pity. I fly in and out of Palma, where they are based, all the time and I never really noticed them. Guess their operations are so well run their aircraft are always airborne.

There was speculation in other threads some time ago that even in a credit crunch people would still go on holiday. It would appear that is not correct.

and with that..cabin crew, seats for landing please.

EC-JTA A320 departed Thurs 23/10 on a HOLA callsign HOA302P,
so presume something must be sorted at least. Have Hola AIrlines taken
over LTE?
