I think it's a fake... It's a great scheme but AR has never announced it.

Maybe AR employees have seen the image before it was officially announced. Kinda like NW employees got a hint of the new NW livery before it was released.

Actually the livery and the pic as well are from a designer called R P Abraham and has been posted at modified airliner photos in august 2007. While I really like that livery I doubt that this is actually going to be AR's new livery. At least I hope they paid R P Abraham some good $$$

Well I wouldn't have much of a problem with it should it become AR's new image; I mean anything from what they have now would probably be an improvement... If anything, I'd change the titles, they seem a bit odd.

Real or not, I love it!!
I think it's different, very original, simple, artistic, classy and somehow eye-catching for a mostly white livery. Just my opinion.
I wish it really was their new scheme.

I agree except the bird's head needs to be re-done to look more condor-ish. The whole thing does hearken back to the Canadian livery pre-buy-out.
AR's colors look very 1980's and it's about time that they got switched to a more modern look.

The livery introduced by Marsans in 2002 is in my opinion the ugliest to have ever adorned AR's aircraft, not to mention sister carrier AU who were of the few carriers to make use of red in Argentina.
Re the image in the opening post, definitely not official.

How is this airline still able to operate? Reading most of the reviews on airlinequality.com makes it sound like a shocker - Some of the comments suggest people even fear for their safety. One has to question how they even compete on the trans-tasman routes.
I do recall them offering NZ$99.00 business class flights on flightcenter.com a month or so ago from AKL to SYD... They might as well give the tickets away for free!
The new scheme doesn't look to bad on the A340-300, better then it was before at least - wouldn't surprise me if it was fake - how would they be able to fork out the money?

This is a very misplaced fear given that AR has not suffered a fatal accident since 1970 (and their safety-consciousness has if anything only improved with the years). How many major airlines can boast that?
