Hi All
I noticed last night that QF launched the A380 ad on TV. I know I have been critical of QF in the past but the ad is VERY impressive. It is simple, clear and easy to understand and the imagery they have used is just breathtaking. "The Worlds Most Expereinced Airline" - fair enough but Alan Joyce has a lot of work to get QF back to its former glory.
In contrast V Australia have been out-smarted, thier ads are just confusing, cheesey, one dimensional and "rockstar treatment" carry on is simply not timeless......V Australia need to scrap thier ad agency, they are not doing anything to assist them in attracting the top end of the business market. Thier stupid "rockstar treatment" carry on does nothing but alientate the serious high yeild end of the market they are so desperately trying to attract...

Here here. Agree completely. I saw the ad on either Discovery or Nat Geo last night and thought it was absolutely outstanding. It provides a quick synopsis of all 4 classes, focusing mainly on the hard product. Visual cues are gorgeous.
