Just wondering, when are we going to see a 717 in LAX or any L.A. area airport?

You can see 717s often at Long Beach Airport. They're built there.

As for scheduled airline operations, I don't know. If you look at the order book, no airlines with extensive west coast operations have ordered the 717.

Where do you see LAX TWA 717 photos? The one in the Airliners.net database is mis-identified, it was in fact taken at LGB (Long Beach). I looked at TWA's LAX-STL schedule in Travelocity and saw only 757, 767, and MD-80 flights.
