I was in an exam today and I saw a plane go over. Being the aviation lover that I am I stopped my work to look to the skies! I saw what I think was either a 757 or an A300, I didnt see much off it so I cant be sure. Now the airline is the main thing I would like your help on. From what I saw it was basically all white, an airline name written on the forward fusalage in the style of Sri Lankan (I thought it was one of their A330's at first) but the tail had what looked like orange or red on.
Any help you can give or any questions you have please dont hesitate to comment.
P.S The aircraft was either going in or out of London Gatwick

I sometimes have trouble identifying aircraft but I struggle to conceptualise how you cannot tell a 757 or an A300 apart. One is narrow body the other widebody for a start!!
I could understand a confusion between 767 and A300 but 757??? They are so distinct!
