F9 has not set a day for release of 3Q numbers.

However it should not be too hard to figure out based on their monthly financial reports to the BK court.

Jul - Net Loss $3.2mil
Aug - Net Loss $5.6mil
Sep - should be submitted this week.

Aren't we technically waiting on Q2 2009 since they operate on a fiscal year?

Sorry SeeTheWorld, couldn't resist Big grin

Hopefully they pull out of this. The guys and gals there (Frontier Airlines) are, IMHO, some of the most professional in the business.

F9 has some good people. Back in '05 they had one bad apple who hired her b/f as the new revenue analyst. Pretty much everyone in the company thought it was an awful coincedence. But I don't think she's even with the company anymore.

OK, this is really strange. In the Docket for today is filed the September operating results for Frontier...

Some kind of oddball mistake? Isn't Delta long out of Ch11, note the date on this document and why is it filed under Frontier's docket? Mistake?

Odd it is. There seems to be no mention of Frontier within docket #623. The document is however current. I'd say it is some sort of mixup, but hey you never know...

With credit markets now beginning to thaw out I wonder if we'll start to see more movement within the industry.

OK, they fixed the document. Conspiracy theorists might presume that the presence of a Delta DIP document in the Frontier docket might imply Delta is sniffing around, but I'm going to assume it is just a mistake.

Here were the September results:

Operating Loss $10.4 m ($13 m worse than August)
Net Loss: $20.8 m ($15 m worse than August)
Net Margin: -22% (down from -4% in August)
Cash: $72.7 m ($ 2m lower than August)

The company received $25 million net from the sale of aircraft during the month. Thus, the company was $27 million cash negative during the month absent the sale of assets.

Other large changes in liquidity:
Restricted investments fell by $56 million from August
Receivables fell by $18 million

Quarterly totals are:

Operating Loss: -$5.8 million
Net Loss: -$29.7 m
Net Margin -8%

Note that they often revise these numbers for the SEC filings. In 2Q it was revised significantly downward.
