Check out this Boston Globe article (10/27) on one dog's attempt to "toy" with freedom.

Pilot: "Request push, which way should we face?" JFK Ground: "You better face the front, sir, or you'll scare the pax!"

WOW! At least they caught the pup, and nobody (including the dog) was injured. It must have been one hell of a thing to watch from an aircraft seat, multiple agencies trying to catch this dog!!!

They never found that award-winning dog at JFK when it escaped...one can only imagine whatever happened that that dog.

Gideon Lester, who was headed to New York, watched from his window aboard his 11 a.m. US Airways flight, which sat on the runway for 25 minutes as five Massport vans drove in circles trying to corral Choochy.

I was having the worst day until I read that sentence! I so lol'ed. I would of seriously LOVED to see that NOTAM or ATIS remark. "RMK: Poodle on runway, breaking action nil" or "caution poodle on active runways, exercise cation or have plenty of Beggin Strips". In this time of bad news in aviation, it is nice to see something light hearted once in a while. Good everything turned up well for all!
