Hmm... SABRE shows both routes operating well past those dates, with no mention of termination of service in those markets.

OAG is always a few days ahead. It won't be in Sabre until Sunday or Monday.

Will CID-LGA not be replaced, or will MQ simply switch the slot to another city?

If they do switch the slot to another city, I've said it before and I'll say it again: FWA would be perfect for LGA service. There's a big AAdvantage base here, and a loyal following for FWA-ORD/DFW. Plus, FWA has wanted NYC-area service for eons, and AA/MQ has cycled through a bunch of Midwestern cities for LGA service.

Bummer. The LAX-XNA worked very well for my family and I. I didn't mind the CRJ-700's too much.

AA added back a bunch of LGA flying about two or three weeks ago that they had planned on canceling, but they did not add back everything they had canceled previously. Thus, it appears that they will give up some slots, so it wouldn't be inconsistent to give up these slots as well.

Really? YOUVE said that before..??? I doubt anyone here will be able to reacall an instance of that.......

and?

Does that mean its FWA's turn to gain, and then lose the service?

Knowing AA, I'd bet they'll just use this slot for another freq to RDU....

No surprise there ... that ill-timed route was doomed to fail.

Bummer, the route was heavily advertised, but the times were bad. Wish they could have timed it better before totally pulling out.
