Joanne isn't VP of Marketing. She was promoted a while back to SVP, In-Flight Services and Global Product Development. She will continue in that role in the new Delta.
Tim Mapes had been VP/Marketing for a while now. He's now SVP, Marketing.

Quoting Flyf15 (Reply 7): Wow, I'm surprised they haven't asked for employee paycuts to pay all the new higher salaries and bonuses of these 19 new high level managers.
Why not make it an even 20? Vice President of Keeping Track Of All The Vice Presidents
(Of course, I do understand, that some are merely replacing others who are leaving... but that sure is a lot of promotions to high positions)
Umm, the combined company has fewer VPs and above than DL and NW had separately. People lost their jobs.
A $35B company probably should have a few more EVPs and SVPs than a $20B company. Bigger operation requires more leadership, not less.
