Croatia Airlines has also order 4 more A319s.

Personally I would have liked to travel on the ATR 42 with OU but never got the chance.

Luckily the ATR is still doing strong in the region with JAT, BH-Airlines (Bosnia), Belle Air (Albania), Air Bulgaria, Olympic, TAROM, Air Dolomiti, Alitalia Regional and CSA. Actually the long DHC-8 is a nice change in this region. Still, farewell to Croatia's ATRs, good to see they gave safe service and they looked pretty good in their livery.

nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

Well, at first I was surprised to see Croatia ordering Q400s. Back then and even now, it seems more logical to go and order mix of ATR42/72s, but there are many factora that influence the final decision and that publich doesn't always know. Anyway, despite the fact that Q400 might do well for OU, I still believe they need smaller turboprops as well for both domestic and regional flights.

If all is true with what they say about the Q400 that they only need to fill 30 seats to break even, then there is no need for a smaller turboprop.

I have flown on OU ATR's quite a few times, I flew them on routes ZAG-ZAD-ZAG and PRG-ZAG-PRG, its sad to this a/c leave their fleet. its great to hear OU ordering more Q400's and more A319's. Does anyone know if OU will ever order anything bigger then the A320, maybe A321's in the future?

Doubt it. There is little need, we've discussed the fact that transatlantic won't happen, and OU have the problem of wintertime when demand to the coast is greatly reduced.
