By in 1996 or 97 on Valentime day ( not a great day for me because I was single then, and still is now ), I went to LAX, and at the Southwest ticket counters there was a lot of ballons and I believe they was hart shape, and they had a big sign that said Happly Valentime day. Back then SWA was not the flying giant they are today, so my question is do Southwest still celibrate Valentime Day like they did in the 90s?

Glad you noticed and remembered the celebrations SWA did.
Indeed yes they certainly celebrate it! Along with Halloween, Valentine's Day is one of SWA proudest and most celebrated holiday for the most obvious reason, it is a day full of LUV!
SWA uses this to their advantage and decorate the gates, ticket counters with LUV, Hearts and whatnot. Shoot in the old days, the machines were called quickie or quicket machines, you had LUV bites, and LUV Seats!
However in todays time now, they simply decorate and some gates pass out valentine treats at the gates and sometimes on board by the in flight crew. It really does depend.
Good things come to those who wait, better things come to those who go AFTER it!
AH! I forgot about the LUV Bites!! Didn't the package have "LUV Bites" several times on the package with each line missing a few letters (as if they had been eaten)? Or something like that? I remember it being very clever, and I remember that they were from the Azar Nut company in ELP
