3750 would be a Dash-8.. It was operated by Northeast Express at the time as NW Airlink.

I have no association with Spirit Airlines

I am also looking for NW timetable information from June 1992, as I took several flights with them during my first trip to the US but do not have flight numbers, schedules or aircraft types. Any information would be much appreciated.

8th June 1992 (Monday)
BUF - DTW (morning flight?)
DTW - SAN (lunchtime arrival?)

Several days later we flew back east from San Francisco, perhaps on the Thursday or Friday.

SFO - DTW
DTW - BUF

Any help would be appreciated as for now this is just an emapty section in my flight memory and I can't find timetables or OAG books on ebay.

Thanks

Checked seven 1992 timetables-- the only one that had NW706 MSP-LGA was the one for 15 Sept. That shows

NW92 D10
NW32 D10
NW302 757
NW706 72S
NW48 747

NW* 3750 isn't shown under JFK-BOS-- those nonstops are numbered in the low 3700s and are all SWM.

In June 1992 NW1223 72S lv BUF 0705 to DTW; next one is too late to catch
NW 285 A320 lv DTW 0910 to SAN (next flight in the evening)

SFO-DTW NW348 A320 lv 0710, NW340 D10 lv 0805; next one lv 1220
DTW-BUF NW1122 D95 lv 1655, NW1188 72S lv 2035

Timz, thanks so much for that information! It was really a shot in the dark posting here so I really appreciated that!

Talking to my parents, I think the NW1123 and NW285 flights are indeed correct and we drove to BUF and overnighted before an early flight. Were they daily services or did the equipment vary on the BUF-DTW flight?

As for the return, there is some doubt as to when we came back so I need to look into it further. It's possible that we flew back at the weekend, but actually had a morning in San Francisco city before flying out. Were there any flights back to DTW and on to BUF that left SFO after the 1220 departure? I guess it may have been a red-eye.

Again, that was great information! I thought I would find it hard to get a ride on a 727 at some point, but it looks like I already had it when I was much younger!

Thanks for your help!
Andrew

Forget what I said about your westward trip-- I was quoting from the timetable for 10 June, and things were different on the 8th.

Thru 9 June, BUF-DTW was NW691 D9S lv 0705 arr 0813, NW1193 72S lv 1015 arr 1121, NW 1121 DC9 lv 1320 arr 1420, and the next one being a 72S leaving at 1615.

Still A320s DTW-SAN, leaving at 0910 and 1900.

Eff 10 June SFO-DTW--

NW348 A320 lv 0710 arr 1435 (no corresponding flight before 10 June)
NW340 D10 0805-1535
NW342 D10 1220-1950
NW344 A320 1330-2105
NW346 D10 2300-0610 (all three D10 flights were 757 thru 9 June)

DTW-BUF eff 10 June--

NW1116 72S lv 0745
NW1118 D9S lv 1035
NW 72S lv 1330
NW D9S lv 1655
NW 72S lv 2035
