Thanks very much for the information, dreamflight. MST is always a good location to see new liveries.

The cheatline is a little bit different compared to the classic Hapag Lloyd livery.

I don't like it, they should have used the original livery posted above. At least that is the one i remember, too...

Agreed, needs that Blue strip long the fuselage, then it would look much better

I have to agree, the livery looks more like a hibrid of the Hapag Lloyd scheme then a retro livery.

That's not really a retro livery reminding of the former Hapag Lloyd Flug - it's a new livery based on the current Hapag-Lloyd Group colors, exclusively for this cruise flight aircraft.

But I am sure the Dutch painters in Maasticht have loved it. It reminds me of the colours of teh national soccer team of the Netherlands - Oranje  Smile

Used to love the original cs so this is at least a step in the right direction. Agree with Jordan, looks great!

Nothing to do with retro colors. The color scheme is mirroring the color scheme of Hapag-Lloyd's cruise ships and of the Hapag-Lloyd shipping company in generel.

I received a promotional e-mail a few days ago for their Southamerica Cruise Flight. Looked good and impressive until I found out that it sells at 33,860 EUR (roughly 43,000 USD ) for 18 days.
As there was no info available on the a/c in use, I was wondering if they would charter PrivatAir's B757, but now I know the answer.

Relatives of mine went on two such air cruises offered by HF about 20 years ago, taking them a) to South Africa and b) to South-East Asia via UAE and India. I am not sure if there was a thrid trip to the U.S. and Mexico.
IIRC, at least one of these flights back then was operated by B727 with considerably reduced number of seats.
