Hi there,

sorry for this question but it's something that always confuse me: in the "new routes" of Ryanair website, I can see the code "ts" before the planned date to start operations.

Could someone tell me what means this two letters?

Thanks for your answer.

Gerard

'to start' maybe? You say yourself it's written before the planned start date.

Sounds logical... So, these flights are NOT seccured to start operations on this date...

Thanks for your help.

I just have found more information...

seems that "ts" new flights are flights that has been put on hold due low demand, end of season but with the intention to restart it on the new dates announced.

It took me some time to figure out, but I think it means: Temporarily Suspended.

Most "ts" routes are summer-only; the have operated last summer but will be temporarily suspended during the winter. Next summer, they will restart.

Also, most routes from GNB are winter-only (ski-season) and therefore, they are suspended during the summer and restarted during winter:

Quote:
From Grenoble Lyon To
*Birmingham: 20 Dec 08
*Bristol: 20 Dec 08
*Brussels: ts 20 Dec 08

CRL have been operated last winter, BHX and BRS are brand new ski flights for GNB.

The routes without ts are really new routes (or routes that have not operated for a long time).
