What is your favorite European airline?
My vote has to go both to Swissair (2 years ago) and Balair before it joined with CTA. (dirst cheap flights to the USA at that time 1994)

Think Lufthansa.

Definatly BMI British Midland- excellent service IMO.
Closely followed by Virgin Atlantic who are also exceptionally good.

ps. Brenjoro- BMI have recently changed their slogan from "The Airline For Europe" to "Civil Aviation", which I think's pretty clever!

I never speak about 'the best' because I have to prove that and I connot. A good one is Denim Air in Eindhoven (NL) because of its excellent flexible attitude. I do not like the Denim Air colourscheme at all...alas.

sounds to me that bmi is getting a lot of votes! So I'll definately try them when I go to Europe!!

How's NG and SK compared to BD??

In my mind (I've not flown on either one of them but...), I think BD first then NG then SK (then VS then SR then AF then LH then ... ...)  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Virgin Atlantic, of course.

Closely followed by BA...

But unfortunately, I never had the chance to test all European airlines, so of course this vote is influenced by the limited experience.... (VS,BA,AF,KL transatlantic; LH, BD, KL, AF, BA, OG inner-European)

Ikarus
