Sitting at YHZ this afternoon waiting for my CO flight to EWR while N703TW, a DL 757 with winglets in the new scheme arrived. They parked at gate 28 and it's now surrounded by ambulances. I assume this is an unfortunate medical diversion and DL isn't sending 757s on sched service to YHZ?

Quoting LatinAviation (Thread starter):

Medical diversion, yes. And if we sent scheduled 757s to Halifax, they certainly wouldn't be the international aircraft.

It was DL 141 enroute from Brussels to JFK.

DL 141 diverted to Halifax. Conjoined twins aboard became un responsive. Curious to know if they turned out OK.

1 month old conjoined infants....coming for medical treatment per the article. Sad news.

Question: Isn't 1 month young for any infant flying? Just a quick google found this site
http://www.babycenter.com/404_at-wha...it-safe-for-my-baby-to-fly_7258.bc
which recommended 2-3 months but allowed that 2 weeks if a normal birth which I would think would not be conjoined twins. Delta's website says 7 days with a letter. It just seems awful early...maybe I am old fashioned.

I am purely speculating but they may have been coming to the States to possibly get special surgery. More details will surface soon enough. Hopefully they wont be negativly spun.
