Qantas do still use 747SP's. They currently have two, VH-EAA, EAB and use them mainly on flights to Hong Kong, Tokyo, Bangkok, and Auckland.

On my Sydney Airport schedule, the Qantas 747SP are scheduled to do the following flights:

* QF020 to Manila
* QF050 to NGO CNS

I also saw a flight to Denpasar.

I see the 747SP at Sydney Airport regulary and they are still around.

:-)

I saw one at Perth the other night. It was operating the Tokyo service, which is normally serviced by a B763.
