Seems like it will be a good month for Emirates with 4 new deliveries in December.
3 x B777's and 1 x A380
777-300ER A6-ECK Arrival at Dubai December 11, 2008
777-300ER A6-ECL Arrival at Dubai December 17, 2008
777-200LR A6-EWH Arrival at Dubai December 24, 2008
A380-800 A6-EDD Arrival at Dubai December 30, 2008
These new additions will definitely help them to increase some well needed frequencies.

So have A6-EWG and A6-EDC already been delivered? I haven't seen photos of these in the database yet.

'EDC has been; it arrived on the 15th November; I saw it at DXB on the 18th and it also did the flypast to welcome the QE2 to DXB.
Problem with EK is that their "M"s "W"s look very similar in their registrations; I was convinced I'd see 'EWJ (which I know would be quite difficult, since it hasn't been built!) only to find, of course, that it was 'EMJ!

Quoting Haan (Thread starter): A380-800 A6-EDD Arrival at Dubai December 30, 2008
Sorry, couldn't edit my post above, as I got some nonsense about symbols and tags; however, Tim Clarke mentioned that 'EDD was coming on the 16th Dec, not the 30th, as mentioned above.

Four is good in this economy?
I'm surprised with only one 77L. Do they yet have enough to put SFO and LAX daily?

Not sure how much new frequency is needed to Dubai in this current world economic climate. The real estate market there is collapsing, construction has slowed dramatically, the price of oil is in a market free fall, and there's already a prolific amount of capacity to DXB thanks to EK's strategy over the last few years. US and European airlines are also gaining more ground in the middle east, not to mention EK's middle-eastern competitors trying to catch up. I'd think their less than daily frequencies to many places might be the only thing keeping their yields in positive territory.
Anyone know what kind of LF's EK produces?

It's quite easy to lose track (!) but I reckon that EK are heading for 110 (-3 772s) 777s making them the first operator to pass the 100 mark. By the end of 2008 they should have around 70 with another 40 or so to come.
That's just amazing. I can remember their initial order for seven...

Does anyone know if this will be the delivery flight that will make a stop in Malpensa MXP/LIMC?
There's been rumor of an EK A380 landing here ffor at least a month, but EK people here doesn't know anything (or they are not allowed to say).

Thank you. Any info on the load factors for LAX and SFO?
Quoting Elsonmandella (Reply 11): They start A380 ops to SYD/AKL on 01Feb. Will make a nice sight at SYD with the 3 x A380 operators on ground at the same time.
If they could be in one photo!
But that also means that EK and SQ could be going head to head SYD-(hub)-LHR.
