I have not heard much about the CSERIES since it was launched last summer. There were rumors of launch customers, but no commitments as of yet. With the worldwide economy in a downward spiral and falling fuel prices, is this a viable program???

Any comments are most welcome!

Just announced our Q3 results today and they were extremely strong:

While a good portion of that is our transportation (trains) and corporate aircraft, the C-Series program is moving along. We're close to awarding the contract on the production facility at YMX, talks on-going with airlines in China + LH.

there could be a big order from the new DL/NW to replace DC-9s and some MD-80s. I think it would be a great replacement. Maybe they would be the US launch customer

I am curious as well as too the status on the Cseries. It is launched without a single order. Just a Letter Of intent (LOI). How far will BBD develop this plane without firm orders?

I hope so, but are DL in a buying mood?
