What with all these rich Oil Barons & Russian billionaires whizzing around in A340's, 747's, & all manner of other heavy metal...with even an A380 or two pegged for uber private / biz jet status.

I was just wondering, are there any 777's in any version, either in use or slated to be private / biz jets?
mmmm wouldn't that be luxury!  Wink
Cheers
Al

Saudi also have at least one (HZ-AKF) that is used for Royal flights.

Mid-East Jets has one available for charters. Saudi Oger, the construction company taken over by the assassinated prime minister of Lebanon, Rafiq Hariri, owns one. Both being B772s.

Those are the only two I know about.

I've got $h*t to do

Quoting Planesarecool (Reply 1):

To piggyback on these two shots, N-777AS is Mid-East Jets and VP-BRH Saudi Oger.

I'm not sure about this one. They do operate Royal flights with 777 but they are not V(V)IP configured. Once I was on a 777 of Saudi to STN but it had the normal layout. Kind of insane, there were only like 6 passangers on it (mostly Saudi princes) and like 15 crewmembers. They flew F though
The second 777 posted used to be the private jet of Former Primie Minister of Libanon Hariri who was assasinated some 3 years ago.

I'm not sure of the configuration, but I'm fairly certain that HZ-AKF is only used for VIP flights.

N702BA, a former BA/Varig aircraft, is now with the Gabon Government. I haven't found pictures of it as such yet, it probably still has basic Varig colours

nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

4 Holers do seem to be more popular as uber luxury jets, I presume that is due to the difficulties in getting ETOPs certification?

A340s do seem to have a ready made role here, and the 747-8i has picked up an impressive number of private orders (8?)

it's the bus to stansted (now renamed national express a4 to ruin my username)
