Who doesn’t like free stuff for your gadgets. Here I will show you how to turn a barf bag into an iPhone or iPod Touch holder.

Looks very savy and doable.

Don't people realize that those bags are there for a reason - and that's not one of them! And neither is putting gum or trash in it. Those bags cost money you know.

Don't worry about it Pilotboi. You see the airline industry is fabulously wealthy. High positive cash flow coupled with low overhead and low capital costs leaves plenty of money for airsickness bags.

Having PTV's in every seatback is more costly to run than a barf bag to hold a iPhone or some kind of a screen to watch something.

a FA here thinks its pretty cool. I would be delighted if someone used an airsick bag for something other than airsick.

Nice idea!

However I would be worried of sabotage from jealous passengers. Big grin

I have real questions about IFE. We have Direct TV , or whatever they are calling themselves now, and my complaint is that we have 300+ channels I do not want to watch, instead of only 15 or so. There is NO accounting for taste. Why don't airlines just provide a low amperage 110/220 circuit for each seat and let customers provide their own entertainment. If they could provide internet so much the better.

Some do...power points at each seat is becoming more common as they go through interior upgrades.

I just go with the Apple solution...an iPod full of TV and movies. Then I don't care what the airline gives me, and they've yet to discover how to shrink my tray table enough that it won't hold an iPod.

Tom.
