Još pet letova za Minhen
Pogodnosti da se put nastavi odmah, u toku dana, ili sutra



Nemački nacionalni avio-prevoznik "Lufthanza" od utorka 27. marta uvodi još jedan let na relaciji između Minhena i Beograda. Let LH 3407 iz Beograda će put glavnog grada Bavarske poletati svakim danom, osim ponedeljka i srede, u 6.50 časova. Sletanje u Minhen, po "Lufthanzinom" letnjem redu letenja, predviđeno je za 8.20 časova. Povratni let LH 3458 iz Minhena, osim utorka i nedelje, predviđen je za 20.25 a sletanje u Beograd u 21.55 časova.

Uvođenjem ovog leta "Lufthanza" je postala prva inostrana avio- kompanija kojoj je data dozvola da avion prenoći u Beogradu. Letovi će biti obavljeni avionom tipa boing 737 koji nudi biznis i ekonomsku klasu.

Novina je i to da će putnici iz Beograda moći u toku jednog dana u Minhenu da ostvare vezu na gotovo stotinu letova "Lufthanze", kako unutar Evrope, tako i širom sveta.

Manfred Fok, direktor "Lufthanze" za Jugoslaviju, rekao je da će sa dosadašnjih sedam i novih pet letova "Lufthanza" u potpunosti zadovoljiti potrebe svojih interesenata. Putnicima na aerodromu "Erhard Štraus" u Erdingu kraj Minhena nude se pogodnosti za nastavak putovanja odmah, ili u toku dana, čak i sutradan.

Istovremeno, Jugoslovenski aerotransport dobio je od nemačkih nadležnih vazduhoplovnih vlasti odobrenje da poveća broj aviona na liniji za Frankfurt, Diseldorf i Berlin.

The German national carrier "Lufthansa" is introducing one more flight between Munich and Belgrade. Flight LH3407 will leave Belgrade every day, except Monday and Wednesday, at 6:50 am for Munich. The landing in Munich, according to Lufthansa's summer time table is slated for 8:20 am. The return flight LH3485 from Munich is, except for Tuesday and Sunday, supposed to leave Munich at 8:25pm and land in Belgrade at 9:55 pm.

With the introduction of this flight, Lufthans has become the first foreign carrier who has recieved the right to have it's plane spend the night in Belgrade. The flights will be operated using a Boeing 737 which offeres business and economy class accomodation.

Now, travelers from Belgrade will be able, within one day in Munich, to connect to hundreds of Lufthansa's flights to destinations accross Europe and the world.

Manfred Fok, the director of Lufthansa for Yugoslavia, said that the existing 7 and and the new 5 flights compleatly satisfy the needs of the airline and the traveling public. Passengers have the option of continuing their flight right away, in the same day, even the next day.

At the same time, JAT Yugoslav Airlines has recieved from German authorities permission to increase frequency on it's flights to Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Berlin.

Intrestingly, JAT has no flights to Munich yet Lufthansa now has a total of 12 per week. Anyway, it will be nice to see more of Lufthansa at Belgrade Airport.

well, the fact that LH serves BEG only from MUC shows that LH really develops MUC as somekind of north/south hub and to concentrate additional transfer traffic on MUC to relieve FRA. except for BEG, there are still other cities in south-east europe which only receive services from MUC, such as ADB, ESB, SKG, SJJ, SKP.

It seems like LH is growing in MUC. According to LH timetable they are only growing with a few flights in FRA with the new summer sheduele, but they are increasing the traffic much more in MUC. Is it hard to find slots at FRA or what? Or will MUC grow to LH biggest airport? What do you think?

In 2 years they get their own Terminal in Munich but they will never grow bigger in MUC than in FRA. They make the airport to their 2nd hub with now 7 Long Haul flights (EWR, ORD, SFO, LAX, GRU, SIN, HKG). Because of this new routes LH introduces more european and German flights to bring more Passengers for the big planes  Smile. I dont think that Lufthansa will expand with more long haul flights before 2005.

well, GOT, FRA is heavily over-crowded, and it´s very hard to get new slots there. that´s why they´re building an additional runway.

what is your assumption based on, flumuc, that LH won´t introduce any new long haul flights before 2005??? sorry, but this doesn´t reflect the current situation. btw, they´re introducing a new flight to bangalore, india, this september, and LH has still many outstanding orders (343s, 346s, 744s) to be delivered.
you once questioned the fact that LH will grow its intercontinental fleet in MUC but i have evidence in my hands that they will grow their longhaul fleet by a number of an additional 19 units by 2005, so they really intend to expand their longhaul services...  Wink/being sarcastic
